How often should I re-string my racquet?

Restring as many times per year as you play per week. For example, if you play three times a week, aim to restring your racquet about three times per year. Weekend warriors can restring every 3–4 months. Keeping a log of your restringing dates will help track performance over time. For more detail, see my blog.

Can you service my racquet?

Yes. I work on all makes and models, from modern frames to older favourites. Alongside restringing, I offer grip replacement, grommet repairs, handle upsizing, and custom modifications to fine-tune your racquet to your game. 

 

What type of grip should I use?

 

Grip choice depends on your hand size and playing style. I offer advice and fitting to ensure you get the most comfortable and effective grip for your game.See my blog page for more information. 

How much does a restring/service cost?

Restringing cost from £15.50 plus strings, or supply your own. I also supply handle resizing and grips, please my Racquet Services page

Do you have Loan Racquets?

Yes, loan racquets are available on request so you can keep playing while your racquet is being serviced, please enquire for availability. 

How long will it take to re-string my racquet?

Most restringing jobs are normaly completed within 24-48 hours. I also offer loan racquets so you can keep playing while your racquet is in the workshop – just ask when you book. Contact me to check current turnaround times. 

What string should I choose?

The right string depends on your playing style, level, and preferences. As an IART-certified stringer, I’ll talk you through the options – whether you want more power, better spin, enhanced control, or greater durability.
